CompTIA Reveals Agenda For ChannelCon Online 2018
Popular virtual conference features discussions on cybersecurity, blockchain, AI, automation, drones, and more

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --  CompTIA, the world's leading technology association, today released the agenda of educational programming planned for ChannelCon Online 2018, the award-winning virtual companion to CompTIA ChannelCon 2018.

Topics ranging from the current state of tech support and cloud migration to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain are planned for ChannelCon Online 2018, scheduled for August 1 and 2. Registration is open for the virtual conference.

ChannelCon 2018, the premier education, networking and partnering event for technology companies and professionals, is set for July 31 through August 2 in Washington, D.C.

"We've expanded the ChannelCon Online schedule again this year to accommodate the growing demand for more virtual programming," said Kelly Ricker, executive vice president for events and education at CompTIA.

Last year more than 4,000 people participated in ChannelCon Online.

This year's virtual programming is offered in two parallel tracks.

Additionally, the CompTIA IT Security Community will present a program on AI - Security's White Knight or the Next Best Friend of the Cybercriminal?. The agenda also includes an executive one-on-one session with the founder and CEO of Wind Craft Aviation, 17-year-old Alex Taylor, who in 2017 became the youngest commercial drone pilot in the U.S.

Conference keynotes, interviews with industry executives and exclusive online content are also part of the ChannelCon Online programming.

CompTIA certification holders who participate in the IT Pro Track sessions of ChannelCon Online are eligible to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards renewal of their CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+, Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+), and CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certifications.  CEUs are also available for some of the sessions in the Future Trends track.
