Washington, D.C., July 16, 2018 – Hornetsecurity, a German-based cloud security solutions company that recently opened its first United States base of operations in Pittsburgh, will showcase its latest innovations at ChannelCon 2018. Hosted from July 31 – August 2 in Washington, D.C., Hornetsecurity will sponsor booth 814 with its distribution partner, Contronex, a value-added distributor for IT security software solutions.
ChannelCon 2018 is the information technology (IT) industry’s premier annual education, networking and partnering event hosted by CompTIA, the world’s leading technology association.
“The technology industry is constantly evolving – whether that be the development of new hardware or software, security protocols or industry standards,” said Oliver Dehning, CEO of Hornetsecurity. “Providing a platform for industry leaders to learn from the service providers that are driving that evolution is the key to keeping the tech sector ahead of the game.”
Hornetsecurity solidified its distribution relationship with Contronex in early 2018 as part of the company’s entry into the U.S. market. At the conference, Contronex will be showcasing its spam filter and email encryption solutions.
“This will be our first public appearance together since solidifying our partnership,” said Beat Kramer, CEO of Contronex. “We’re thrilled to be working with such a progressive and experienced company.”
As part of its existing family of solutions, Hornetsecurity will highlight its recently upgraded Advanced Email Signature and Disclaimer service. This latest iteration of the service not only ensures company email signatures are responsively designed, but also allows users to create additional sub-signatures within existing signatures, including slogans, logos or banners that promote upcoming trade shows or new products a company wants to highlight within a specific timeframe.
In addition to Hornetsecurity’s product exhibition, Oliver Dehning will lead a conference breakout session on July 31 from 4-5.30 p.m. in the Hoover Meeting Room. The session will feature a demonstration of Hornetsecurity’s automatic email encryption service, with specific focus on compliance, implementation and current market demand.
“Now more than ever, email encryption software should be a top priority for companies worldwide, especially those in highly regulated industries like health care and finance,” Dehning said. “Unfortunately, adoption of such solutions has been relatively slow because encryption software can be quite complicated. Our service is fully automated and takes administration out of end users’ hands, eliminating the need for them to deal with it at all.”
Hornetsecurity and Contronex will be available for meetings at their booth throughout the duration of the conference. For more information, or to set up a meeting time, please contact:
